Happy New Year

Philosophy
Dear readers. I just want you to know that i am happy the way things are going at the moment. I thank God for giving me the opportunity and wisdom to share my talent with my readers. It’s a pleasure for me to be sharing my experience and thoughts with the world. I know that I had a talent but it took me awhile to figure out what it was until I took a hard look at myself and top into the experiences I gather along the way. My life is colourful and I have seen lots of things happening all over the world that affecting people lives and they can’t do anything to change it. That’s where I come in because God give me a voice to speak out on behalf of the voiceless. My poems speak volume and by reading them you will see and feel the tremendous feelings that ran through my emotion while writing all my poems. All my work is being done with lots of dedication and meaning and they came from my heart. My reason for doing (VOICE FROM THE WILDERNESS) is to give people some comfort in their lives and to help build hope and courage while lifting spirit. I don’t try to used big words, I can if I want to but what’s the point when I want the average person to read and understand what I am saying. The problem with poetry is that most olden days poet uses too many words that the small people can’t understand therefore lots of people don’t like poetry. My aim is to change that by using simple rhyming words which people can identify with in their everyday lives. I love to use word creatively hence you will see for yourself and enjoy my poetry. As a child growing up I saw many things and I continue to see stuff during my adult years that cause me to marvel. Things changes and so do people but behaviour and proper up bringing live within a person until death. I wasn’t rich but I was rich in my grand mother love, a-matter-of-fact she was the only person in my whole life who ever told me that she loves me. I know that there are lots of people out there in the world today who never hear the word (I love you). For someone to grow up without any self believe or self esteem is not nice and there are a lot of people out there can identify with what I am saying. My job as the people poet is to try and change that. The poem (DON’T GIVE IN) was done for all the people who don’t have any confidence in themselves. Not having any self esteem is a very dangerous thing. As a poet I see myself as a motivator and someone who God gave a gift to help inspire the world with my words and teaching. It doesn’t matter to me that I didn’t go to university but I got in my head lots of people in universities would love you to. They go to learn about things that I live everyday. Don’t get me wrong because I would love to go to the university as a youth growing up but I was too busy trying to figure out my real purpose in life. Now that I know what my purpose is I am happy to share it with the world. I always wanted to write a book but it wasn’t until about five years ago I decided to start writing. I wrote a book 26 years ago and my relatives lost the manuscript and I was down and out for all those years until 2003 I took up writing poetry. Most of my poems that I wrote in 2003 are included in my book. It wasn’t until I found my back against the wall I took up writing as a potential career. I wrote my first poems while in Maidstone prison and I never look back. God gives me a purpose in life and I am here to carry it through. Many people encourage me to continue doing writing because I had a God given gift that should be cherished. To all my readers I am just being honest and I want you to know where I am coming from and help me to reach where I want to go. Which is to be a worldwide voice to the down press people in life? My aim is to set up a charity to help kids all over the world who didn’t get a chance in life. I am talking about kids who are in drugs, can’t go to school and in gangs. I didn’t get the education that I wanted to progress in life. The reason for that is because I got distracted and didn’t have and role model to motivate and inspire me to live up to my full potential. I would love to use my talent to help some of the less fortunate people in the world and that’s my aim.
