Wicca is about ancient wisdom
Whatever you choose to call it, knowledge is knowledge. Several ancient cultures possesed knowledge of the unseen world (astral plane) and the use of energy and will to acheive goals. These include the Ancient Egyptians and various Shamanic traditions all over the world. Those interested in these things should never get information from only one source, and should explore for themselves, rather than simply taking someones word for it. Wicca is great because the Rede is a nice guideline for avoiding bad karma and helping spiritual development. Blessed be.
