Trip home from Florida...
Hi everyone! My best friend, Marty, flew down from VA about 5 days ago and we are having so much fun. She has never been to Ft Lauderdale before and loves it here. The seafood is great. The lighthouse is lovely at night. Yesterday there was a sailboat regatta going past our condo for hours! Will be leaving here tomorrow to start trip home, but will stop overnight with my daughter in Atlanta, to pick up my kitties. Hope all my friends have a blessed weekend! Smiles, Kellee

I AM IN POMPANO BEACH, FL
Hello everyone, I am in beautiful, Pompano Beach, Florida. Right now the temp is 88 degrees and windy. We are expecting strong afternoon thunder storms, as usual in S Florida, and the clouds are coming in. My condo is on the ocean and I can look out and see a lighthouse. This is the home of the Goodyear Blimp so it comes over 2-3 times a day. There are four buildings here and I am on the top floor of the ocean front bldg. Every night at the Tiki Bar there is some type of music for dancing, etc. Last night was karaoke night. Among signings, shopping, eating at fabulous restaurants and just plain sight seeing, I was planning to write some more on my sequel to ‘No Time for Tears’. So far I have written zip! Oh well, I can’t do it all. As I sit here on the balcony, with the pool down below, I never want to leave this area. I’ll be here another 10 days or so and hope to find time to send you another message in a few days. Be good! Refreshingly yours, Kellee

6-28-2008 GOOD MORNING!
WELCOME FRIENDS, FAMILY, READERS, AND OPRAH! How are you this bright sunny Saturday? I have been as busy as a bee this week. With the TV segment last week, the book signing this week, and other stuff, I have not had much time to write. I decided to write yesterday, and you guessed it, the phone rang off the hook. On top of that, yesterday afternoon my cat came in the house and dropped a small lizard on my foot! Yikes! He won't go out again any time soon. I live on a lake and there are numerous critters. I have ducks, geese, birds of all kinds, and squirrels galore. I have a duck that has a nest at the bottom of one of my pine trees with seven eggs in it. I'm trying not to spook her at all. Good afternoon, friends!
Good afternoon friends: I would like to start a blog on this new website. Maybe we can talk about some of the topics included in my book. There are many topics to choose from, such as murder, losing children, abuse by family, spousal abuse, drugs, taking care of elderly family members, loss of parents, being sent out of town in a witness protection program, step children/parents, and many other family related issues. This last sentence makes me tired just thinking about all I've been through. I also worked for a large telephone company for 32 years and found time to have 16 surgeries, including two 9-hour brain surgeries. wow! And I look healthy as a horse! My main purpose for writing this book was to assure people with similar problems that you can survive all of this and live a good life in spite of it. It takes work, but it is worth it. The only way that I did make it was my faith in God. Without that, I would not be here today. Or maybe... I would be in jail or living on the streets. I'm sure of this. Please respond on any of the topics and let's get this blog started. I believe we can enjoy this with a lot of banter back and forth even though the topics are serious. Have a nice weekend, KS
