Not the First, Not the Last
Public Bookshelf, a subtle backdoor way to get published to Amazon on a POD and receive 500.00 up front officially is the first to turn down publishing the Limited Collectors Edition of One Thousand Years: Genesage. Fortunately they did as the Book I published with 48hr Publisher needs some edits and with the Commercial Edition which will be for sale, it will have a more polished look.Even the Cover has been redone to a Retailers design pattern.Jobage, the Prequel to the series is progressing as well as Book Two Exodage. Both also will have a Limited Collectors Edition.

Web Site Submitter
Intersting enough, daily I have been using a Web Site Submitter that allows you to fill in the Meta Tags and general information, then go from directory to directory submitting your site to their Free Directory or I imagine if you "pay" paid site and some have a reciprocal link clause which I have not tried.My Site on Google moved up.I would love to be one of those guys who can afford everything but as a genuine author "meaning broke" I am all the labor besides the Author and Writer. My solace is that should God WANT to promote this book, He certainly can do a better job than I can and I must return to finishing the Series.Deadline is approaching for the Commercial Edition: May 31st of Book One Genesage

Plodding
I Can't say I am doing nothing as each day I am submitting the Web Site to another 5 or 6 directories, and I am making in roads on putting a Audio Book version on the Main Site for people to "Hear the Book" as well as starting the One Thousand Years: References "Scriptures Edition" in Web form.I can see adding these directories moved me up in Google Search Engine which strangely I enjoy.But I know I am Plodding...hardly busting through the morass of personal desire for recognition. Yes I admit, I need it too. Acknowledgement. In my rewriting for commercial edition I see the errors, adjust a little the content but that first edition I really am anxious for input....

Step by Step
Today as last night I moved on with the Commercial Edition of Book One "One Thousand Years" They Kingdom Come Thy Will be Done" and finished two scenes as well as a rewrite of Chapter One Scene One. I feel more comfortable now about the the rewrite. The difference will be considerable on ease of read with alot of sentence structure cleaned up.There really isn't alot to do, just tedious work. I also outlined Three Chapters and 12 scenes of Book Two Exodage "On Earth as it is Heaven". That book will be fun. Not hard to finish.Jobage, the prequel. Our Father In Heaven, came to mind so I outlined a few chapters and scenes and plan to finish Chapter One this coming weef as while I thought about it, I lived the opening scenes in my mind and enjoyed the journey (smile). I still am never quite sure if I am writing these books or living them as I write because they take me there and I live them.Maybe you know what I mean.Day by day I do the Edits, writes, re-Writes, outlines, graphics, Web pages, Web site, very small minor mailings and tell Lori how discouraged I am at nights as we walk around the park for a mile or two. She knows it is more mental tired than real discouragement and we hope the books do to get to her family in a week have an impact.So far, basically, I have had no response from anyone except my wife.As is common to this profession, it is a lonely trade and the craftsmen of it often live alone in a world of paper and pen. (or computer)
